A few things worth knowing.
Clear answers about the catalog, member access, languages, and viewing on different devices.
Have a question about your account?
For account-specific questions, refer to the member sign-in page. Film and service availability should be confirmed with the site team.
Go to sign in01Where can I watch a complete film?
At the moment, this website is a public catalog of documentary concepts and written film notes. It does not host playable, full-length videos. Each film page provides a description, location, running time, and illustrated cover so you can understand the project. A sign-in link appears for visitors looking for member information, but signing in does not currently start a viewing session. If you were previously given separate viewing instructions, please confirm those details directly with the site team before relying on them.
02Can I sign up for a new account?
New account registration is closed for now. There is no waiting-list form, invitation request, or checkout process on this site, so entering personal information elsewhere is not necessary to browse the public catalog. You can still read every film description, explore topic pages, and access our field notes without an account. If registration opens in a future edition, we will update the registration page with clear instructions. Please do not treat messages from unrelated websites as official KOMA invitations.
03Why does the sign-in form reject my password?
The member sign-in interface is not connected to an active authentication service in this edition of the site. The form therefore shows a standard incorrect-credentials message instead of opening an account. It does not submit your email or password to a server. Repeating the attempt, resetting another password, or making a payment will not unlock a film. If you expected an existing membership to work, verify the current account arrangements with the site team rather than sharing your password with anyone.
04Are the illustrated covers actual video frames?
No. The images in the catalog are original, static vector illustrations designed to suggest the subject and atmosphere of each listed project. They are not screenshots from an available video, playable previews, or evidence that a film has already been released. We use this format because the public site currently has no video files. You can read each film page for the intended setting and editorial direction, and use the related links to explore similar ideas without expecting a media player to open.
05Does changing the site language add subtitles?
Changing the language menu translates the website interface and its written content into American English, Japanese, or Traditional Chinese. It does not activate subtitles, audio tracks, or dubbing for a film. Individual video language options have not been announced, because full playback is not currently offered on this site. If you need an accessibility accommodation or a particular subtitle language for future viewing, please confirm availability with the site team. Do not assume that all catalog languages would be available on every film.
06Can I save or download a title?
Film downloads, offline playback, and personal watchlists are not available on this public site. You can bookmark a film page in your browser and return to its description later, but that bookmark does not save a video or reserve access. The catalog can be explored without creating an account, and no media download button is provided. If a future service introduces those features, the relevant page will explain supported devices, storage requirements, and any access conditions before you use them.
07Will the website work on my phone?
Yes. The public catalog is designed to adapt to narrow screens, including current mobile Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android. Menus, cards, language switching, and reading pages use responsive layouts and do not require a media plugin. However, device compatibility for future video playback cannot be confirmed because no full video player is enabled today. If text appears cut off, try updating your browser and opening the page without forced desktop mode. For an unresolved issue, contact the site team with your device model and browser version.
08How do I ask about a specific film or account?
First, check the individual film page for its description and current availability note. General questions about registration, captions, and downloads are answered in this FAQ. If you still need confirmation about a specific title, an existing membership, or future distribution rights, contact the site team through your established communication channel. The sign-in page is linked here as the account information starting point; it is not a working support ticket or live chat service. Never send passwords or payment details in an unsolicited message.
